Fars İnformasiya Agentliyinin məlumatına əsasən, Türkiyə prezidenti dünən (27 aprel) bu ölkənin ilk AES-nin açılışı ilə əlaqədar videoçıxışında ddeyib: Ölkəmiz 60 təxirlə AES güclü ölkələrin sırasına daxil oldu.
Məlumata görə Rusiya prezidenti Vladimir Putinlə birfə telekonfrans keçirən Ərdoğan rəsmi Moskvanın elə ilk vaxtlardan bu layihəyə dəstəyini dəyərləndirərək deyib: Buna görə həmkarım Vladimir Putinə təşəkkür edirəm. Akkuyu AES-i Rusiya ilə Türkiyə arasında ən böyük ortaq layihədir.
