Əl-Məsirə telekanalına görə, komitə deyib: Həsən İdris Səudiyyə koalisiyası muzdurları tərəfindən Mərib həbsxanalarından birində işgəncə verilərək öldürülmüşdür.
Yəmən Hərbi Əsirlər Komitəsindən edilən açıqlamada bildirilib: “Biz İdrisin qətlini kəskin şəkildə qınayır, təcavüzkarları və onların muzdurlarını bu və digər cinayətlərə görə mənəvi və hüquqi cəhətdən cavabdeh hesab edirik.”
