Amerika prezidenti Hiroşimada keçirdiyi mətbuat konfransıdna xəbərdarlıq irroniyası ilə Çini təhdid edərək Tayvan əleyhinə hər hansı bir akt qarşısında ABŞ-ın reaksiya verəcəyinə əmin olsunlar.

Fars İnformasiya Agentliyinin məlumatına əsasən, Co Bayden Çinin Tayvan əleyhinə birtərəfli addımları qarşısında Amerikanın sakit durmayacağını və Tayvanı müdafiə edəcəyini vurğulayaraq deyib: Biz müttəfiqlərimizi müdafiə edəcək, problemlərinin həlli istiqamətində əlimizdən gələni əsirgəməyəcəyik.

Qeyd edək ki, 1895-ci ildə – birinci Çin-Yapon müharibəsindən sonra Tsin hökuməti Tayvanı Yaponiyaya güzəştə getməli olub. İkinci dünya müharibəsinin nəticələrinə görə isə Yaponiya bu ərazidən imtina edib. Müharibədə qalib dövlətlərdən biri olan Çin Respublikası müttəfiqləri ABŞ və Böyük Britaniyanın razılığıyla Tayvanı idarə etməyə başlayıb.
