Pentaqonun sözçüsü ABŞ xüsusi əməliyyat qüvvələrinin Suriyanın şimal-qərbində anti-terror əməliyyatı keçirdiyini, bu əməliyyatın uğurla keçdiyini və ABŞ qüvvələri arasında itki olmadığını iddia edib.
Əl-Məyadin-in Suriyadakı müxbirinin yerli mənbələrə istinadən verdiyi məlumata görə, qondarma “Terrorla Mübarizə Beynəlxalq Koalisiyasına” aid 4 helikopter İdlibin şimal bölgəsi yaxınlığında əməliyyat keçirmiş və bu əməliyyat aralarında qadın və uşaqların da olduğu Suriyalı mülki vətəndaşların həlak olması və yaralanması ilə nəticələnmişdir.
ABŞ koalisiya qüvvələri dünən bir terrorçunun olması bəhanəsi ilə ərazidəki bir evi hədəfə almışlar. Mənbələr bildiriblər ki, ABŞ qüvvələri səsucaldandan istifadə edərək həmin şəxsin evi tərk etməsini tələb etmişlər, lakin yarım saatdan çox davam edən qarşıdurma zamanı qeyd olunan şəxs qaçmağa müvəffəq olmuşdur.
Mənbələr bildiriblər ki, ABŞ koalisiya qüvvələri əməliyyatın uğursuzluğa düçar olmasından sonra iki evi hədəfə almış və oranı tamamilə yerlə-yeksan etmişlər. Nəticədə çoxlu sayda dinc sakin ölmüş və yaralanmışdır.
