Hadisə ilə əlaqədar Daxili İşlər Nazirliyindən bildirilib ki, insident iyulun 5-də metronun “Əhmədli” stansiyasında qeydə alınıb. Belə ki, polis əməkdaşları təhlükəsizlik qaydalarına uyğun olaraq, iki qadın sərnişindən əl çantalarını xüsusi yoxlama aparatına yerləşdirməyi tələb ediblər. Onlar isə polisin qanuni tələbinə tabe olmaq istəməyərək, qışqırmaqla ictimai asayişi pozmağa cəhd ediblər.
